Southern Wings Express

They have a ton of different flavors. Given there is no Wing Stop currently in New Haven county this spot will do. I got Honey Hot and BBQ and they were goodsize wings and flavorful. I would go back and try other flavors as well.

Wing king of Ohio here in Connecticut, and hitting up another place during my visit. Wow! The food here was killer! I ordered 25 wings sauced in: Buffalo medium w/garlic: nice hunks of minced garlic, good medium level heat; Spicy buttery BBQ: I got no buttery flavor here, but it had a very mild spice and with a tasty honey flavor, so I think I got the honey BBQ sauce actually. I also got the classic nachos appetizer, and all I can say is WOW, this thing was a meal of it's own right. 3 layers of 2 types of cheese, then oven cooked to create a melted cheesy delight! The included salsa was quite tasty. This place redeemed New Haven for the bad experience I had in town(see my reviews).

I ordered Wings and the Wing Rice for a retirement party at work. Southern Wings Express went above and beyond delivering the food to my place of business on time as discussed. Their preparation of the food and condiments made it easy for me to sat up. My coworkers loved the food. The food was still warm when we were ready to eat. Like I said they loved the food. They had not heard of Southern Wings before however, they want to order from Southern Wings for our next office party or lunch. They enjoyed the three varieties of boneless wings we had and look forward to trying the other varieties. I just want to thank you again. You made a retirement party for someone special a success. 2021-08-14 my first try. I bought a small order with 7 wings as my snack. Chose #22 Caribbean Jerk flavor. They were done perfectly - The rub and sauce were great and yummy and were not too salty. The wings were not too dry. Will go there again for different flavors when I have a chance. The young man who took my order was nice. Highly recommended their wings.

Favorite wing spot in West Haven. I've been ordering from them for years now, and my fiance put me on to them. I always get the number 33 sweet chili boneless with Mac mash, and sometimes cornbread never disappoints me.

Always make a point to stop here whenever we are in connecticut. Recently had garlic teriyaki, jerk and the Cherry pterodactyl. The Jerk were good and even better the second night when we warmed them up. The other two were as amazing as I remember.
